Donna -

I started planning my meals not long after starting No-S. If I do it
right, I find it helps. I have to be realistic - for instance I won't
schedule a meal that takes a long time to prepar if I have a busy day
planned, for instance. And I make sure to account for leftovers. It
helps cut down on spontaneous eating of junk food, and helps make
shopping easier. I tend to plan a mix of these types of meals:
- Stuff that's good and I've made before
- Super-easy (grilled cheese, PB&J, etc) or semi-prepared ("just 
add
water" meals, etc.)
- Something new (every once in a while, to broaden my horizons)
- Eating out
