If you have special snack favorites then you can just have them as part of your meal, that is, unless they are super sugar laden.... You won't feel you have to cut out the treats, just don't eat them between your normal meals, instead as part of the meal.... If they are really unhealthy, you will have to choose whether or not, they are worth eating, vs. say a hearty sandwich or whatever, since you only get one plate per meal... I guess when that bridge comes you will have to reevaluate whether you really need some of these snack foods in your life.... Recently at a family party, we had some seltzer around and I started drinking that as an inbetween meal "buffer"... I add a splash of lemon or some juice, but not much... this helps somewhat with impulse eating (ie snacking) and of course, helps with proper digestion of your meals.... Good luck! Peace, Deb |
