Don't let yourself be frail at 50. I'm 58 and in poor health, but wouldn't
consider being frail.I find Basmati rice the best grain for me. it really 
is
different from other varieties of rice, doesn't send my blood sugar up,I
have diabetes, among other problems. Barley served instead of rice is a
pleasant change. It takes longer to cook, up to 40 minutes, but try it. 
It
is nice. With Coeliac disease you need to avoid gluten and I think Barley
doesn't have any.
