Dear Donna, For one I plan in advance as my husband and I work in our shop together, so we bring lunch to save not only time and money, but calories, and when I get home at night , I like to know just what to cook ahead of time, and often I cook ahead of time, that way Less temptation to snack while waiting, of a hypoglycemic momment, Breakfast is our no brainer....we do oatmeal one day, bacon and eggs the next. Try also to keep our meal choices to 3 well balanced items...like breakfast...milk -cereal-fruit, lunch, soup or salad, fruit and say yougart, and dinner is meat, vege, and either soup or salad or starch such as rice or potatoe....less chance to over eat with less choices.
