I have diabetes and hypertension, in fact the whole syndrome X and NoS 
works
for me. I try to sstick to it, no sugar, no sweets(which we desserts in
England ) and no second helpings except on S days Saturdays Sundays and
special days like Christmas and birthdays.I've stopped losing at present,
but hope if I keep it going, it will start again
