From Forbes: http://moneycentral.msn.com/content/invest/forbes/P114424.asp "Last year, we spent an estimated $46 billion on diet products and self-help books. Much of that money is wasted. Indeed, a government review found that two-thirds of American dieters regained all the weight they had lost within a year, and 97% had gained it all back within five years." The article goes on to list the weekly cost of 10 popular diet plans. For a moment I did a double take and thought the bottom entry read "Nos diet." No such luck. But it might as well, as far as the cost is concerned (though nos would presumably cost even less, since you'd be eating regular food, just less of it). Hope you converts from other systems are enjoying your extra 15 to 80 dollars a week! Reinhard |
