lol, that sounds just deadly. definitely an s day effort.
here in aus, we have changed it, so mostly the open rolls of pasta are
filled with savoury yummies.

Being from an Sicilian family, granted my family has been here for 100

years, but cannolli was always a cream filled sweet pastry, usually with 
a
bit of ground pistashio on top. You may be thinking of Ravioli, that is 
a
pasta type dish of noodles filled with meat or cheese.
