Hi Donna, I did find after trying and failing on NOS for about 6 months that when I made sure on NOS days my meals were very ample but only 1 plate that helped me make it without eating until the next meal. When I first started out I was so afraid and had a hard time mentally accepting eating a large meal; I was afraid I was even going to gain more weight. I did put on a few more pounds before the 4 came off so don't let that scare you. Getting the pattern down is more important than anything. It took me, as I said 6 months to finally do it. I was also someone who obsessed about food. I even once tried, before NOS, to eat 1/2 cup of somethng every half hour thinking maybe that would help me. It was crazy. I spent alot of time looking at the clock, measuring, I couldn't get anything else done at work. I just didn't know how to stop putting food in my mouth constantly. I am so surprised and still in shock that I can just eat three meals now. It really feels good. I know it will be slow, but I have really accepted that. Hang in there. We have all had those crazy feelings and cravings. |
