Tammy,

Since pop is still the big problem for you, you should
figure out what it is about pop that you like, and try
to replace it with a "No-S" legal option.

1. If you like the caffiene in pop, try Green Tea or
Coffee.

2. If you like the sweetness of pop, try mixing
Crystal Light into water. I like to mix mine
half-strength as Crystal light seems super strong. I
know artificial sweetener is a "borderline S" but I
think that a little artificial sweetener is better
than a lot of real sugar. 

3. If you like the bubbles in pop, try seltzer water
or mineral water. There are a bunch of different
flavors. 

It's good that you don't smoke, but you shouldn't use
that as an excuse to drink pop. Remember Reinhard's
"Good things to put in your mouth" comments. The order
was something like, "Water, green tea, coffee, milk,
diet soda, juice, soda, cigarettes, shotgun." The idea
is to get as high as possible on the list while
minimizing the lower stuff.
