Hi Deb,

I don't like playing the censor, so post away if you
feel compelled to. But just keep in mind that threads
on aspartame, usa v. world and certain other subjects
tend to by nasty, brutish, and long (and, in the
latter case at least, irrelevant to the group's
mandate).

I don't come away scot-free either, for as I'm sure
you noticed:

"there is also a widely-recognized codicil that any
intentional invocation of Godwin's Law for its
thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful" 

and

"it is considered poor form to invoke the law
explicitly."
