Okay I knew I was close with the spelling, sorry I haven't studied
French : )
These are somewhat similar to funnel cakes, or zeppoli, but there's
something different about them... It's a good thing I am 1200 miles
away from the Big Easy (there's a reason why they call
it "Big"....did you ever see Paul Prudhomme?)
Here's a link to the place I used to go on New Orleans S days for a
midnight snack (numerous times I'm afraid to admit)
If you can imagine something that makes a crispy creme seem less
delicious, this is it.
