Hi all, First post, so I'll say Hi first. I'm Sam, and I started No S a week ago yesterday. No problems or difficulties, really. I don't find it *that* hard. The biggest problem I have is that was used to eating small meals and snacking in between. It's hard to put enough food on my plate to last through the day. Like last night, I made fried chicken for the family. Knowing I'd only get one plate, I served myself two pieces along with broccoli and rice, and couldn't finish them. Then around 11:30 (movie time) I wanted a snack. Ugh. If i'd finished my chicken, I probably wouldn't have wanted to nosh. (I didn't, by the way! I had a beer and left it at that.) One thing I've been doing is drinking instead of eating snacks. If I want something sweet, apple cider does the trick nicely. Otherwise I can fill up on water and feel good about it. Overhydration isn't a problem under normal circumstances. Anyway, I probably won't post much, but wanted to say hello. ---sambo |
