....Good enough rationale for me, and the matter of "degree" is
something I will be chewing on for some time, very
interesting "slant on it" :)

....Please, don't change one little word! As you already know and I
have already stated, it was just a missing piece of the puzzle for
me and I tend to like to pick things apart in a neurotic way...It's
hard to shut off the questions in my mind, once they are there :)
