Thanks for the reminder, Reinhard. I forgot to post my "journal" from last week. This is not a particularly typical week. I had a lot of left-overs I was eating. I didn't keep track of last weekend. I was out of town and ended up snacking a lot because I just didn't get to sit down for too many meals. Anyhow, there weren't too many interesting snacks over the weekend. I did have a couple of ice-creams though. It was a darned hot weekend! Oh, I also kept track of caloric drinks. If I would drink straight black coffee, I'd probably cut down on the fat/calorie intake b/c I have lattes everyday. Should also cut those out b/c they're pricey. Ack... addictions! Here you go: Mon June 23, 2003 Breakfast: - two slices of whole wheat toast with Plugra butter - 12 oz of OJ - 12 oz latte (whole milk?) Lunch: - leftover salad with sliced grilled chicken (made up Sunday eve) - about a cup of grapes - about 12 dates - 12 oz latte Supper: - glass of red wine - 12 oz apple juice - pasta salad with veggies, tuna and balsamic vinegar dressing - bread with cheese and butter - grapes Tue June 24, 2003 Breakfast: - 12 oz apple juice - 2 pieces of rye bread toast - 12 oz latte Lunch: - leftover pasta salad - grapes - dates - water Dinner: - glass of red wine - bread and cheese - leftover pasta salad (again) - grapes - melon Wed June 25, 2003 Breakfast: - 12 oz latte - bowl of Strawberry Fields cereal ( Kashi brand, I think) Lunch: - more of that darned pasta - 12 oz latte - grapes, dates, cherries Dinner: (went out for a fancy-pants wine-tasting/dinner) - salmon tartare with corn bread crouton and apple glaze - eggplant, green olive and caramelized onion tart - braised beef short ribs with green beans, grilled tomatoes - cheese course - Roquefort, Brie, Exploraeur - four small glasses of wine - probably totalled two regular glasses Thu June 26, 2003 Breakfast: - 12 oz latte - plain croissant - Samantha 'Desperately Seeking C' juice Lunch: - peanut butter and honey sandwich with banana - pear - nectarine - some juice mix (mango, orange and something) Dinner: - heavy rye bread with cheese and tomato (open faced grilled sandwich) - nectarine - dates - sliced tomato - apple juice Fri June 27, 2003 Breakfast: - heavy rye bread with butter - dates - 12 oz latte Lunch: - cheese sandwich on rye bread with tomato (no mayo or mustard) - dates - strawberries - cherries - iced coffee - with cream, but no sugar |
