It isn't all that cold, It has only dropped below 0 deg. Celsius occasionally and I have a new heating system at home and wear warm clothing. It is really a response to my efforts in maintaining good blood sugar control. Non diabetics average about 85 mg/dl blood glucose. I an keeping to about 100 mg/dl/dl, which is pretty good, but I have to watch the carbohydrate intake. Today my husband was chivvying me in the morning, because he wanted to go out. I forgot to take my medications. we got home in the early afternoon and I checked my blood. it was still in the target zone.I think it means I'm doing the right things. I don't want to let my condition progress if I can avoid it.Diabetes is usually progressive, but good control can keep that to a minimum.and avoid the possible complications like eye problems, kidney problems and foot problems, uncontrolled diabetes an lead to very serious conditions. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Debbie Feder" <deborahfederlmt@...> To: <> Sent: Saturday, January 29, 2005 4:53 PM Subject: [nosdiet] Well Done Hana! > > > > Hey Hana, sorry for the delayed response. > Fantastic news about your new belt notch down!!! > England, Winter, freezing...
