That's an old name, comes from folk songs. they are all different varieties
of Narcissus. There are thousands of kinds. I have had some with pink
trumpets and I adore the big white ones called Mount Hood. I did start
collecting them at one time, but we re-modelled the garden and lost some.And
some don't go on well into a second year. My mother has an acre of ground
and at tithe far end under fruit trees, she has lots of naturalised
narcissus,They look wonderful
