It is no longer a crutch i need to get me through the day. I much prefer a good cup of coffee if i need a pick me up in the middle of the day. At nite i find if i eat enough at dinner i dont need tv snacks and in fact it makes me mad when DH continues to bring them in and offer them to me. Sipping on a glass of water or glass of wine through the evening helps and is better for me than the box of crackers or bowl of popcorn. Also if its not in the house you wont eat it, so be kind to yourself and get rid of your fave snacks and only buy for the weekend if you really really want it. Even smaller portion bags or boxes of stuff, pint of ice cream instead of a half gallon. I tell you every little bit helps :) I remember what it was like staying home with my little ones, it was so hard to lose weight when you felt you were in the kitchen all day. If only i had Nos back then instead of the crazy fad diets i would go on, lose on and gain it all back in a year ! Thank God you are young and can learn this now and not when you are much older like some of us ( we know who we are) LOL i was remembering my first few days of Nos, i was ravenous esp the first day, Rein pretty much told me to just eat more at each meal time until i figured out how much i needed to eat to be satisfied. So anyway enough rambling keep in touch, we are here for you. Julie > > Thanks so much Deb. Last night was so rough. It is as if I can't > watch tv unless I am eating. Even though I am not "hungry".
