Hello Gwen;
> . . . 5'1", about 110 pounds . . . .I exercise 3-4 days a week with
either toning floor exercises and/or "gliding" or jumping on the
trampoline. . . . the weight I want to lose is right in the tummy.
This is all my unprofessional opinion. It reflects my interests and
reading. It sounds like a muscle control problem, the stomach muscles
are used to just hanging there. It's like your muscles themselves
have poor posture. Make them sit up straight. Try stomach muscle
control exercises, tensing, etc.. theskippedbreath.com is one idea,
yoga has some of those exercises, Pavel offers some suggestions in
his ab books, John E. Peterson is writing a good book which should be
out about now. In other words, it might just be a problem of 'sucking
it in,' although that is a bad description of what takes place.
It sounds like you follow nos close enough. My big question is do you
eat less now than before you started nos. For me, and I bet for you,
the answer is yes. So keep it up.
>I often have a "light" beer in the evenings
That doesn't sound bad.
>and one or two granola bars a day
Uh oh. That is not good. That is snacks.
Good luck,
Tom
