Subject: Are these foods considered "sweets"?

Part of the beauty and simplicity of NoS is that there are very few
restrictions (and even those are lifted on "s" days :)). But I have

been wondering about these breakfast foods--are they sweets or not?

--Pancakes/waffles/bread/french toast with syrup.
--Pop tarts, Toaster Streudel, Nutri-Grain Bars.
--Presweetened cereal (Frosted Flakes, Lucky Charms, Frosted Mini-
Wheats, Coco-Puffs, etc.).

Not all at the same time, obviously!

Would the syrup tend to "make" the first group of food sweets?

Would the answer depend on the amount of syrup used? The other two
groups do have some redeeming nutritional value, so would they not be
considered sweets as long as you followed the "No seconds/No snacks"

rules?

Cookies, candy, pie, ice cream, cake, and soda pop are no-brainers in
the sweets department, but some foods could be either/or.

Thoughts, anyone?
