As a data point, I could probably manage to move my weight around by
2-3 lbs in either direction by controlling the amount/density of food
I eat and the amount of water I drink. Weight loss is about controlling
energy intake over the scale of months; don't confuse the daily ups and
downs of what your body *contains* fool you into thinking that those
are changes in energy consumption.
