You are probably thinking about cannelloni or manicotti -- these are rolled pasta
filled with meat or cheese or whatever you may stuff into a ravioli. Canolli are
crisp pastry shells filled with sweetened ricotta cheese and whipped cream. The only
thing these two have in common are their shape.
