Not all the loss was NOS. I started before I discovered NOS. I spent some
weeks in hospital last summer following a stroke and on the hospital's
"Diabetic Diet", I gained weight.from 95 to 105 kg. I was already too
heavy
and not pleased to gain. I ate only what the hospital gave me.Because I
am
diabetic, the nurses checked all bottles of soft drinks brought in by my
family and friends and took away any with sugar, (in a heat-wave. English
hospitals rarely have aircon.)I have now gone down to 94 kg which is about
24 pounds. We are metric in the UK and in Imperial we use Stones for people
14 pounds is a stone, but I'm not sure if a US pound is the same as a UK
pound (454g)I now do 1 session of Pilates per week and go to the gym when
I
can, aiming for 2 x 1 hour sessions a week. I work 3 days as a science
teacher in a high school. In addition I am 57 years old and have been
overweight for about 30
