I checked out the Dr. Z link....did sound a lot like the no S diet, except 
I
would rather a potatoe, or rice at night instead of pretzels at lunch.

It's basically the nosdiet without s-days. Pretty
enlightened stuff, for the 20th century. And he's a
*doctor*! (ok, a dentist, but I'll take what I can
get). This does not appear to be the Dr. Z of New York
City subway fame, if that means anything to anyone.
