And I think this is fine with NoS -- see, for example, the
dispensation on http://www.nosdiet.com/ about
"I love the NoSDiet, but
my doctor says I need to eat 4/5/6 meals a day because of my medical
condition!".
You're not eating snacks because you have a craving, you're doing it
for medical reasons: do regulate your blood sugar. And since it's,
well, sugar that's involved, you have to eat carbohydrates and can't
nibble on a carrot or whatever.
