I hope to have a more manageable web based bulletin board system up
within the next month or two. Instead of gazillions of emails you'll
just go to a web page, get an overview, click on threads and
messages you're interested in and ignore those you're not. Yes you
*can* kinda sorta do this with yahoo groups, but it's clunky. Both
the casual and the obsessive user should get a lot more out of it
this way. Plus no more full screen atkins ads.

Ooh yes those are rather obnoxious, but I've been tuning them out...
I say its time to post a 2005 picture of the E man instead! Who's
with me? LOL :)
....Hi Rein and group :)
Obsessive user Deb here :) I went to "No Mail" the *first two days*

into NoS because it was really annoying and yes, much less readable.
Your new web page sounds terrific and good luck on that! In the
meantime I thought I'd share what I do with others who haven't yet
realized they can go straight to the message board and then sift
through the days messages at their leisure...Simply click on the
link for the yahoo group messages page and save it to
your "Favorites" folder... Then when you go back the next day you

will see all the new messages and can decide to skip or read them
without having it go to your mailbox and create clutter....
What do I have in my favorites folder? You guessed it, eds, sg, ur
and NoS (plus other assorted crazy sites to kill time)
Again, good luck with developing your new page...Evolution of an
already wonderful place on the web... I'm sure it will be great!
Peace,
Deb :)
