I knew my sample meals would be alienating! Oh well.
I live in Cambridge, Mass, which may as well be Mars,
as far as most Americans are concerned. But honestly,
my meals are not usually that weird (maybe I should do
another week, to correct for sampling error).
I don't think fried is at the top of most people's
problems. I think the top problem is quantity (and
sugar). I do, bizarre-o meal list notwithstanding, eat
a lot of fried food, butter, and cream.
I wish I could help you on the kids issue. Working on
it :).
Is the problem what to give the kids instead of cocoa
puffs? Or what to eat yourself while you're watching
the kids eat the cocoa puffs? The second is (I think)
a more tractable problem. The first I haven't given
much thought to yet (though I'm about to).
Anyone else?
