Hi Bonnie, I make an effort to limit excess bread and pasta. I try to eat balanced meals, with vegetables and proteins, without worrying about carbs. When someone makes homemade bread and serves it warm, I always indulge. But pre-packaged foods, crackers, and the entire "snack food" category, are as empty as they are unfufilling. Also, someone once encourage me to only eat desserts that I make from scratch--so, we have an ice cream maker and bake cookies sometimes.
