Mygoal 135 You absolutely have to put these mistakes behind you. Remember, "no self revenge." http://www.nosdiet.com/#screwup Here's yet another take on it: Self discipline comes before, not after falling off. Or rather, there *is* great discipline after, but it consists precisely in not discplining (that is to say, not punishing) yourself. This is hard, it takes discipline not to discipline! It's a huge temptation. But remember: you are not a child, you are a responsible adult. To treat yourself like a child by punishing yourself is to compromise your responsible adulthood. You'll feel you can get away with future misbehavior because future punishment will even things out. Don't be this naughty child. For a responsible adult, failure is in itself sufficient punishment. You don't need any more. In so far as you don't feel this way now, you have to train yourself. And you train yourself by not punishing. Try the calendar trick I mentioned in my last post. A string of slashed out days might be a great motivator not to break the streak, and a new slash after falling off an immediate, positive milestone to shoot for.
