Hello Mike,
This is very encouraging.
My name is Valerie and I am beginning my second week of the nosdiet. I
found out about it through Thom on the Off-Track e-mail list.
I am 36 years old and I had the duodenal switch weight loss surgery in March
2001. I was 339 pounds and lost down to 196. Last year I got pregnant and
gained up to 208. My immediate goal is to get back to where I was when I
got pregnant.
This way of life (I prefer to call it that rather than a diet) is really
working for me so far. It is simple and a good balance of carrot and stick.
I don't know if I've lost any weight (I don't own a scale), so I'll just
have to wait until I can feel it in my clothes.
I appreciate all of your e-mails -- they've really helped me to stay on
track.
Valerie
