Deb mentioned the Dr. who did not drink soda,,,,this has always been my
reason not to drink soda pop....or "tonic" as we called it back home in
MA.
I was at a lecture one time, and it was break time and someone offered
the
speaker juice, and she said "no thanks, I never drink my calories" . At
the
time I was very slim , but noticed so was the speaker. I must mention that
usually slim people do not worry about sugar, or diets, until one day when
the pounds just may creep in with the good ole "middle age spread"
which
comes from too many calories in, not enough spent! Anyway, for what ever
reason at the time, I never drank regular pop anymore, although once in
a
blue moon I will have juice or milk...healthy rules, but as a rule stay
away
from drinking calories.....eating them is just more fun.
