Hi all, I dragged the scale out today from under the clutter, and had a pleasant surprise. On 09/15 I weighed 368 and today I weigh 353 a total of 15 pounds less--just by giving up dieting. I started out in 1998 at 500+, then went low carb and Go-Diet so that by April of 1999 I was down to 398. Since that time, until recently, I have been on- again/off-again of strict low carb and then bingeing--not very healthy. Any regimen too strict means being superfat for me so it seems. I also have been bouncing on my rebounder (2 or 3x a day for about 2-3 minutes each time because I have fractured both my big toes/confrontations with trash cans--enough said). I am very encouraged today that I may be able to live like a real person in the real world. I believe this holiday season shall be easy to get through with health and sanity. |
