No, not ignorant or overbearing at all! We just live a bit differently
than
some folks :)

Not only do I have an internet connection, I have a high speed wireless
;-)
One of the churches up here decided they wanted to offer the community
a
high speed option. So I have a dish/antenna thing on top of my house and
voilla! There are only a handful of us that use it (maybe 5 people) but
I
needed it to be able to download work files from the server. This is a
community of 300, and only 800 in the entire county.

Previously, we had dial up -- but since we are long distance from
everywhere, the phone company offers what is called "an extended calling
area" for an extra $9 a month. That way we are able to access the dial
up
numbers in the counties south of us.

Now, we do have a tiny local store where you can pick up a few basics (and
you pay double for them) and the town 35 miles south has a decent
store....but once we are that far you might as well go to the cheap store
--
one of those bag your own places.

One thing is certain, and that is I need to keep whatever I bake put away.
The family is not going to tolerate me not making their "goodies" so
my
fingers just need to not touch them after I make them. I know I can do
it -- I was on Atkins for months and never did.

BTW, Atkins made me sicker than a dog with a perpetual headache :(
